The Office of Institutional Research and Effectiveness (IRE) creates and publishes infographics, in addition to data tables and reports, so that viewers can grasp the current data in a way that is visually stimulating. Below are various infographics for enrollment, retention, and graduation rates.

Freshmen Enrollment
This infographic shows freshmen enrollment data for the current fall semester. It provides the total number of incoming freshmen and their enrollment by college major and ethnicity. In addition, the percentage of freshmen enrolled who are female, live on campus, first generation, or are in the Honors College are provided.
Transfer Enrollment
This infographic provides the number of new transfer students that are enrolled in the current fall semester. It shows their enrollment by ethnicity and college of major. It also shows the percentage of the new transfer students who came from a two-year college and a four-year college. In addition, the percentage of new transfer students who are female, full-time, or are 100% online students are provided.
Undergraduate Enrollment
This infographic shows undergraduate student enrollment data for the current fall semester. It provides the total number of incoming undergraduates and their enrollment by college of major and ethnicity. In addition, the percentage of undergraduates enrolled who are female, live on campus, first generation, or are full-time are provided.
Graduate Enrollment
This infographic shows graduate student enrollment data for the current fall semester. It provides the total number of incoming graduate students and their enrollment by college of major and ethnicity. In addition, the percentage of graduate students enrolled who are female, over 35 years of age, 100% online, or are full-time are provided.
Undergraduate Retention
This infographic shows the most recent fall-to-fall undergraduate student retention data. It provides the total number of undergraduate students who enrolled in one fall semester and the number of those students who graduated, re-enrolled at HCU, and those who did not return to HCU the following fall semester. In addition, it provides the overall undergraduate retention rate, as well as the percentage of new freshmen and new transfers that were retained. It also includes the the retention rates of freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors, males, females, minorities, first generation students, and those who live on campus.
Graduate Retention
This infographic shows the most recent fall-to-fall graduate student retention data. It provides the total number of graduate students who enrolled in one fall semester and the number of those students who graduated, re-enrolled at HCU, and those who did not return to HCU the following fall semester. In addition, it provides the overall graduate student retention rate, as well as the the percentage of new and continuing students. It also includes the overall retention rates of males, females, minorities, and those who are either part-time or full-time.
Graduation Rates
This infographic shows the most recent undergraduate graduation rates of the fall entering full-time freshmen class that enrolled at HCU six-years ago. It provides the percentage of student who did not graduate in six years, as well as the percentage of students who were able to graduate in four, five, and six years. In addition, it shows the six-year graduation rates of that entering freshmen class for males, females, minorities, and the students who were first generation.
Then & Now
This infographic compares the current enrollment data of undergraduate and graduate students from the enrollment data from five-years ago. It provides the number of new transfers, new freshmen, and new graduate students. Plus, the total enrollment numbers of graduate and undergraduate students are provided as well. It also provides comparison data of undergraduate students who were minority, female, first generation, or full-time. In addition, enrollment data for graduate students who were minority, female, or full-time is provided.
Degrees Awarded
This infographic shows the number of degrees and certificates awarded to undergraduate and graduate students, by degree type, college, and by sex for the most recent year. In addition, it provides the number of undergraduates that graduated with honors (Cum Laude, Magna Cum Laude, and Summa Cum Laude).
