University Place offers apartment-style living designed for students who want the best of both worlds: the convenience of campus and the comfort of a real home.  Just steps from class, the library, and the student center, University Place features high ceilings, full kitchens, a pool and dedicated parking. A true home base for studying, relaxing, and connecting with fellow Huskies.

University Place is just over friendship bridge, near Husky Village Building 7. This map features the patio and parking lot that will be open to residents.

University Place will serve upperclassmen exclusively. Residents will consist of Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors.

Yes. There is a lot near University Place that will be open to residents.

Yes, as a current student, you will get to select your housing placement for next year based on the number of credit hours you have. The more you have, the earlier your selection time is. The only difference University Place brings is that it provides more options for residents, leaving room in Hodo for new Huskies.

There will be fob access required to enter the residential areas, along with physical keys for each unit to ensure multiple access points. University Place will be outfitted with cameras and Residence Life staffing to maintain visibility of any safety concerns.

Bowles, Allen and Houston units are single-occupancy rooms. Cullen units are double-occupancy, shared between two residents.
