The staff of the Office of Academic Records at Houston Christian University welcomes you to our website. Our office provides services related to the creation and maintenance of academic records. Our mission is to provide exemplary service to current, future and former students as well as faculty and staff. The Office of the Academic Records maintains the integrity of the academic record, is charged with the implementation of HCU policies and procedures and maintains the values of higher education while supporting students in achieving their academic and career goals.
We are here to assist students with the many processes associated with being a student here at HCU. These include, but are not limited to, registering for classes, checking progress toward degree completion, withdrawing, certifying enrollment, and requesting transcripts. Faculty and staff rely on our office for coordination of course rolls, grade submission, and assistance with the registration process. It is the goal of the Office of the Academic Records to provide timely and secure student record information; therefore, photo identification is required for release of any student information.
