Teaching Focus
Dr. Travis’ research focus is philosophical apologetics, particularly the intersection of science, faith, and philosophy. As an interdisciplinary scholar, she emphasizes an integrative approach to the pursuit of truth and the importance of intellectual history in worldview studies.

Additional Information
Dr. Travis is a Fellow at the Discovery Institute’s Center for Science and Culture and serves on the Executive Committee of the Evangelical Philosophical Society. Her current research interests include the science of human happiness and the value of science fiction in the project of imaginative apologetics. She is the co-founder and president of the Society for Women of Letters, a ministry that mentors Christian women pursuing intellectual formation.
