Dr. Kniffen’s primary teaching focus is within the information systems and analytics disciplines. Beyond his academic background, Dr. Kniffen brings 10 years of analytics and information technology experience to the classroom. His focus is on the application of analytic methods to solving business problems and the use of information systems to improve business performance.

Research Interest and Publications

Dr. Kniffen’s research interests include the use of social media, communication, and user well-being. He applies experimental and quantitative methodologies.

Additional Information

Dr. Kniffen resides in Cypress with his wife, Ingrid, and two children, Elias and Matias. The family attends Cy-Life Church. Dr. Kniffen enjoys spending time with his family reading, exercise, hiking, and fishing.
