Additional Information

Dr. Fabre enjoys introducing undergraduates to the field of chemistry.  She strives to give them the tools to help them succeed in the future. Her area of specialization is the field of organic chemistry.

Dr. Fabre has mentored undergraduate students by serving as PI and performing research supported by Robert A. Welch Foundation Departmental Grant. She also has received the JAMP Special Projects for Program Initiatives Grant for 3 years. Dr. Fabre serves on several selection committees for student based initiatives at HCU and other organizations.

Dr. Fabre serves as Member at Large of the Southeastern Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (SAAHP) and a member of the National Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (NAAHP).  Also, she is a member of and has served as Chair of the Texas Association of Advisors for the Health Professions (TAAHP).

Dr. Fabre is a member of the American Chemical Society, National Organization for the Professional Development of Black Chemists and Chemical Engineers and Iota Sigma Pi National Honor Society of Women in Chemistry.
