Additional Information

Ms. Tiffany Bergeron is the Chair of the Department of Visual Arts and the Program Coordinator for both the terminal MFA Studio Art program and the BA/BFA Studio Art programs. Her extensive teaching experience spans Art History, Art Education, and Studio Art, including Life Drawing, 2D Design, Experimental Painting, Color Theory, as well as Printmaking and Drawing for both undergraduate and graduate students in the College of Arts and Humanities.
In addition to her teaching roles, Ms. Bergeron has served as a Clinical Supervisor and Intern Supervisor for the College of Education and Behavioral Sciences. She has played a pivotal role in curriculum development, designing all the online courses for the Department of Visual Arts and creating an Art History Online Certificate, as well as Studio Art Certificates for all five studio art disciplines.
Her artistic achievements are nationally recognized as her mixed media painting The Barred Owl, was selected for the permanent collection at The Museum of Biblical Art in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, her work The Nest was selected for Ground Zero 360’s permanent art collection, which travels nationally and internationally each year to commemorate the 9/11 terror attacks and honor the first responders and surviving family members of the World Trade Center attacks. She also chaired the Ground Zero 360 Remembrance Exhibit and Events Committee when the Department of Visual Arts hosted this important and memorable event on the HCU campus. Her work has been showcased in numerous regional, national, and international galleries and museums, including the Ogden Museum of Southern Art in New Orleans, a museum in Salzwedel, Germany, and a solo exhibition featuring her paintings, printmaking, photography, and sculptural jewelry at the prestigious Redbud Gallery and Art Center in Houston. Her paintings have also been featured in juried exhibitions such as Rising Eyes of Texas and the Assistance League of Houston, and she won the Merit Award for the Photo 15 Exhibit at The Berkeley Art Council.
