Stormy weather kept me housebound for most of the May 14 weekend. Had I been willing to brave the elements, I would have headed for Money Monster, but I have not felt any great sense of loss at missing it. The trailers have given away much of the plot, but I may try to catch it later. In the meantime, I have been watching old movies about the last days of the Romanoff dynasty: Nicholas and Alexandra and Rasputin and the Empress. The first film is far more credible than the second; the Rasputin film is notable only because three Barrymores starred in it.
