DR. BARBARA J. ELLIOTT, Assistant Professor of Liberal Arts in the Honors College, is the author of an article published in The Imaginative Conservative on September 6 titled “When Mother Teresa Came to Washington.” It is based on the author’s encounters with the newly canonized saint in 1981 and 1994, which had a profound impact on her.
