Dr. Renata L. Nero, Chair of the Psychology Department and Director of Graduate Studies in Psychology, is an invited speaker at two upcoming conferences. On Saturday, October 29, she will facilitate a session on the topic, Addressing Emotional, Cognitive and Behavioral Resistance to Training in Cultural Competence at the 43rd Annual Conference on Addiction Studies. The second presentation is entitled, Social Media — How it is Affecting Mental Health in Children and Adolescents and will take place on Tuesday, November 1. This session is part of the Mental Health in Children and Adolescents Conference sponsored by the Hope and Healing Center of St. Martin’s Episcopal Church.
