Dr. Katie Alaniz, assistant professor of Education, 
and Dr. Dawn Wilson, professor of Education, presented at the Technology and Curriculum Conference of Aldine on October 22 in Houston, TX. Their presentation was entitled “Break the ‘Sit and Get’ Cycle with Digital Tools to Inspire Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration.” The presentation highlighted cross-curricular, web-based digital tools that can be integrated into classrooms of all age levels, effective for seamlessly transforming students’ learning experiences from “sit and get” to “create and innovate.”
