Yuri Yatsenko Co-Authors Chapter 13 Technological progress, employment and the lifetime of capital

Dr. Yuri Yatsenko, professor of business in the Archie W. Dunham College of Business, along with co-authors from France
and the United States, wrote Chapter 13 “Technological progress, employment and the lifetime of capital” of the collective monograph Sunspot and Non-linear Dynamics: Essays in Honor of Jean-Michel Grandmont. The book was published in the series “Studies in Economic Theory” by Springer International Publishing AG (Switzerland). The authors construct and analyze a novel optimization model with heterogeneous capital that describes complex nonlinear relations between two major economic factors, technology and labor, over the infinite time horizon.
