Dr. David J. Davis, Assistant Professor of History, was recently awarded the Hardenberg Fellowship at the Johannes a Lasco Bibliothek in Emden, Germany. In June 2017, Dr. Davis will spend three weeks in Emden, researching the library’s collections of early Reformation theology and devotional literature. The research fellowship is part of a larger book project that Dr. Davis is developing which will examine the importance of divine revelation in early modern thought and culture.
