Dr. Leslie Kennedy Adams, BA ’86, MLA ’87, an adjunct faculty member in the department of English and Modern Languages, has been named to the Advisory Board of the ReGroup Foundation, and will also be working as the organization’s grant writer. The mission of the ReGroup Foundation is to provide veterans who have recently left the armed services with a free place to live, the time they need to heal and determine their next steps, and the educational, financial, and mental health services they need to succeed outside of the military. The organization’s primary focus is to ad-dress the issues that lead to homelessness in an effort to prevent veterans from becoming homeless.
