Houston Baptist University is pleased to welcome Dr. Michael Kenneth “Kenny” Holt as the dean of the Archie W. Dunham College of Business. Holt brings a broad knowledge base with a career spent in higher education, including in both educational and operational areas. He was most recently the dean of the Middle Georgia State University School of Business. His specialties include entrepreneurship and collaboration.
Dr. Michael Rosato, HBU provost and vice president for Academic Affairs, said, “Dr. Holt is uniquely qualified to lead the Archie W. Dunham College of Business at HBU. He has practical experience in finance prior to entering academia, coupled with 30-plus years in higher education – including a previous dean of business post. Moreover, he is a leader in the field of business regarding the integration of the Christian faith and business.”
