Raul Bustillos serves as a pastor at Powerhouse Church in Katy, Texas — where his leadership, passion for community, and commitment to spiritual growth cultivate authentic faith and belonging.
Born in El Paso, Texas, and raised between Juárez, Mexico and the United States, Raul’s life journey has shaped his heart for people — from hardship and resilience to hope and transformation. After earning his bachelor’s degree and a Master of Accountancy from Texas Lutheran University, Raul built a successful career in financial services while intentionally living his faith in action.
As a young adult pastor at Powerhouse Church, Raul focuses on connecting people to community and Christ — particularly through The Table, a weekly young‑adult gathering that fosters real conversation, worship, and belonging. His ministry emphasis is rooted in creating spaces where individuals are seen, encouraged, and equipped to thrive spiritually and relationally.
Raul’s story is one of faith‑forward perseverance and service — a life marked by authenticity, leadership, and a deep conviction that hope and healing are available to all through Jesus Christ.
