Faculty and Guest Artist Concert
September 5 @ 7:30 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
HCU staff pianist Ben Sieben and guest artist Dr. Christoph Wagner will perform a concert of music for cello and piano, featuring the Chopin and Shostakovich cello sonatas. Sponsored by the Department of Music, this free concert will be held in Belin Chapel at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 5.
Mr. Sieben and Dr. Wagner (“W7 Duo”), have performed together in the Houston area for various events since 2022, including a recital at HCU with mezzo-soprano Emily Heilman in September 2022.
Dr. Wagner is Asst. Professor of Cello at the University of New Mexico; he regularly performs and teaches around the U.S. and abroad.
