Organ Recital Series
November 14 @ 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.
University Organist John Kirk will present a free organ recital on Friday, November 14 at 7pm in Belin Chapel performing organ works by Dieterich Buxtehude, Herbert Howells, and Cèsar Franck.
John will be joined by Music Department Chair Dr. David Kirkwood, tenor, to present several works for tenor and organ, notably Gerald Finzi’s setting of several poems by Thomas Traherne. Violist Yvonne Smith will join them for excerpts from Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Four Hymns.”
