Houston Christian University is happy to host the Pinson Lecture series this year. This series was established by the BGCT and focuses on Baptist distinctives, history, and theology to honor Dr. William M. Pinson Jr.’s legacy. It rotates around BGCT-affiliated universities. Our guest speaker this year is Dr. Matthew Y. Emerson. Dr. Emerson is Vice President for Academic Operations & Partnerships and Professor of Religion at Oklahoma Baptist University.
