Omar Garcia has served as Missions Pastor at Kingsland Baptist Church in Katy, Texas, since 2005, leading global efforts to reach the unreached and serve the vulnerable. Kingsland’s Go Beyond Missions ministry mobilizes thousands each year to live out the gospel—locally and globally. Omar and his wife Cheryl have been married for 45 years and enjoy time with their family and exploring God’s creation in Big Bend and beyond.
