Podcast #158 – Aug. 24, 2020 Kyle Gruller grew up in Cypress, Texas. He excelled in baseball and played for two seasons at Wharton County Junior College before coming to HCU as a right-handed pitcher. Gruller ranked third in the Southland Conference in strikeouts and eighth with a 1.75 opponent batting average. Gruller also posted a 3.96 GPA to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District and Southland Conference All-Academic Team honors.
