In this segment of “Think About It,” Dr. Gary Hartenburg, Director of the Honors College, talks with Dr. Robert Llizo, Associate Professor of History in the College of Arts & Humanities. They discuss the Honors College and its role in helping students challenge themselves academically while also inspiring them to grow spiritually in wisdom and character. Dr. Llizo describes the College as a three-year adventure that engages students in the process of reading, thinking, questioning, and discussing the great works of Western civilization. They both believe that Honors College students benefit from the kind of education and curriculum that encourages them to stretch and challenge themselves to explore and ask hard questions.
