Teaching Focus
Mr. Marino’s primary teaching focus specializations are in Social Psychology, Personality Psychology, and Statistics for Social Science. He also is interested in Experimental Psychology and Research Methods for Psychology.
Research Interests and Publications
His primary research interests include social cognition, moral attitudes and behavior, and behavioral effects of worldview.
Previous Academic/Professional Positions
Prior to joining the Psychology faculty full-time, Mr. Marino served HCU as an Adjunct Professor of Psychology and a Research Assistant in the Gideon Institute for Christian Psychology and Counseling.
Additional Information
Mr. Marino is an avid video-gamer and enjoys relaxing to a great game. He also loves cooking and exploring Houston for new restaurants. Outside of psychology, he is also passionate about studying philosophy and theology. Mr. Marino and his wife are active members of Houston’s First Baptist Church Downtown.
