Culture Influencers: Jeremiah Johnston

Dr. Jeremiah J. JohnstonJeremiah Johnston, president and founder of Christian Thinkers Society – a Resident Institute of Houston Baptist University – and associate professor of Early Christianity, ministered in one of the most unreached cities in the nation, Portland, OR, at ReSound Church. The church did a six-week countdown to his October 22-23 visit by going through his Unanswered book and accompanying LifeWay Bible study. In a city like Portland, the message of the Unanswered Tour fell on many open and eager hearts. On October 30, Jeremiah visited The Fellowship in Nashville, TN. In one Sunday he visited both church campuses to focus on the number one question he receives from believers across the nation: “How does the church need to address mental health issues?”

Throughout the fall, Jeremiah has been taking the Unanswered Tour to churches across the nation, including Morrison Heights Baptist Church in Clinton, MS; Fayetteville’s First Baptist Church in Fayetteville, GA; Prestonwood Christian Academy in Plano, TX; Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home, AR, where he ministered with Museum of the Bible‘s Cary Summers and Arkansas Governor Asa HutchinsonChampion Forest Baptist Church in Houston, TX at Houston Apologetics Day; and Premier Digital Conference in London, UK with Museum of the Bible. To follow more of what CTS is doing, visit ChristianThinkers.com.
