Dr. Saul Trevino, associate professor of chemistry, was a symposium panelist at the Process Education Conference in Clovis, CA on June 22. The topic of the symposium panel was “Creating an Equity Environment in the Classroom”, and Dr. Trevino presented his paper titled “Using Strengths to Promote Equity in the Classroom”. At the conference, Dr. Trevino also presented a poster that discussed characteristics of approachable teachers.
