School of Nursing and Allied Health Hosts Annual Fall Luncheon

The Houston Baptist University School of Nursing and Allied Health will host the “Spotlight on Allied Health” Annual Fall Luncheon from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 10, at the River Oaks Country Club, supporting the school’s scholarships and programs. The keynote speaker will be Bob Marley, athletic trainer for the Houston Texans and UT Health, as well as an HBU adjunct professor. The event honorary chair is Dr. Allene Lucas, and the luncheon chair is Marsha Eckermann ’68. Luncheon honorees are The Dunn Foundation, the Hamill Foundation, and Toni Cotton ’86, recipient of the Margaret Newman Outstanding Alumni Award.
