Dunn Foundation Awards HBU Nursing and Allied Health Scholarships

The Dunn Foundation has awarded the HBU School of Nursing and Allied Health a $300,000 grant to benefit Nursing scholarships. These funds are divided between undergraduate and graduate scholars. The Dunn Foundation has a long history with HBU and has awarded nearly $2.5 million to the School of Nursing and Allied Health.

“We are truly grateful for the Dunn Foundation scholarships in support of HBU’s nursing students,” said Dr. Robert Sloan, HBU president. “These scholarships have a game-changing impact for the success of so many students, and thus, have a transformative and healing impact upon countless others who are cared for by these students, both now and in the years to come.”

In the fall of 2019, the SONAH Dean’s Development Council honored the Dunn Foundation at the annual Fall Luncheon held at River Oaks Country Club. The 2020 Fall Luncheon will be held on Tuesday, October 13.
