Dr. John Tyler, HBU professor of Law and Jurisprudence and director of the Legal Studies Program, spoke in February at the Religious Freedom Under Fire Workshop. Hosted by the Texas Pastor Council, the event included the Hon. Ken Paxton, Texas attorney general; Pastor Frank Pomeroy, senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Sutherland Springs; and the Rev. Bob Fu, president of China Aid.
Dr. Tyler was the lecturer for the fourth lecture in the HBU Forgotten Founders Series on March 3. He spoke about Founder George Mason.
