Jason Bachtel, HCU Football Land Top FCS Recruiting Class

Another year and another strong recruiting class for the HCU football team. The Huskies, now led by new head coach Jason Bachtel, brought in the top-ranked recruiting class in the Football Championship Subdivision, according to 247Sports recruiting rankings.

With 13 players who signed during the early signing period in December and 11 more who helped complete the recruiting class on National Signing Day in February, the Huskies put together a 24-player signing class that continues the momentum that Bachtel has brought since taking over the program.

In the signing class, Bachtel and the Huskies landed nine players through the transfer portal and picked up 15 high school players.

HCU’s home opener is slated for Saturday, September 7, when Bachtel and the Huskies welcome Tarleton State to town.  Season tickets will soon be available for purchase. The Husky Club and its members’ generosity are continuing to build the future of HCU Athletics and advance the mission of the University.
