Scheduled Portal Maintenance Through May 31

HCU is rolling out a new portal experience on June 1st. Between May 20-31, students will be unable to access HuskyNet or submit payments online, and other faculty tools may be unavailable.

HCU Professor of Apologetics and Scholar-in-Residence Nancy Pearcey was a featured panelist at  the National Radio Broadcasters (NRB) 2024 International Christian Media Convention, held Feb. 20 – 23, in Nashville, Tennessee.

Celebrating the NRB’s 80th anniversary, the annual convention is described as “the world’s largest gathering of Christian communicators and ministry professionals.” Participants learn hands-on-skills through a variety of keynotes, workshops and panel discussions from over 100 speakers.

Pearcey spoke on the “Faith, Fatherhood and Masculinity” panel, drawing from her latest book, “The Toxic War on Masculinity: How Christianity Reconciles the Sexes.” The panel was hosted by Lauren Green, chief religion correspondent for Fox News.

Remarks from the panel were featured in an article by Zachary Mettler in the Daily Citizen, a Focus on the Family publication,

While at the conference, Pearcey shared insights from her panel discussion with James Dobson’s “Family Talk” radio program and several other media outlets.
