Houston Christian University (HCU) will expand its undergraduate business offerings with the introduction of three new Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree programs beginning in Fall 2027. Offered through the Archie W. Dunham College of Business, the new programs are designed to prepare students for careers in high-demand and high-earning fields while reinforcing HCU’s commitment to academic excellence, ethical leadership and Christian values.

The new degree offerings include Bachelor of Business Administration degrees in Business Data Analytics, Management Information Systems and Human Resource Development & Change. The degrees will be offered on campus in the residential modality and in the fully online modality, providing learners with ultimate flexibility.  Each program combines a strong business foundation with specialized coursework that equips graduates with the knowledge and skills needed to meet the evolving needs of today’s workforce.

“The new degrees stem from a multi-year data-driven process, tied to our ACBSP accreditation, to evaluate the employment and workforce needs of the Houston market.  Our primary goal was to empower students for great careers by offering degrees in high employment growth areas,” said Mike Rome, Dean of the Archie W. Dunham College of Business.

The addition of these programs reflects HCU’s ongoing investment in innovative, career-focused academic offerings that prepare graduates to lead and serve in a rapidly changing business environment.

Applications for the Fall 2027 cohort opened in early August. Prospective students can learn more about the new programs by visiting HCU’s Archie W. Dunham College of Business website.
