Academic Calendar for Online Courses
The Houston Christian University academic school year consists of three (3) academic semesters – Summer, Fall, and Spring. Within each semester, there are two 8-week terms in which students studying online may complete courses. (Few courses may be offered in 16-week terms; please refer to the University Catalog or inquire with your advisor.)
Please note the remaining important dates for the Spring II 2025 term:
- 03/24/25 – Last Day to Withdraw without a “W”
- 04/14/25 – Last Day to Withdraw with a “W”
- 05/11/25 – End Date
- 05/12/25 – Final Grades Due
- 05/10/25 – Spring Commencement
Registration opens for Summer and Fall semesters in the 2025/2026 academic year on March 2, 2025 at 10:00 PM CST for online and graduate students.
Registration opens for Spring 2026 on October 5, 2025 at 10:00 PM CST for online and graduate students.
Registration opens for Summer and Fall semesters in the 2026/2027 academic year on March 1, 2026 at 10:00 PM CST for online and graduate students.
