The Houston Christian University academic school year consists of three (3) academic semesters – Summer, Fall, and Spring.  Within each semester, there are two 8-week terms in which students studying online may complete courses. (Few courses may be offered in 16-week terms; please refer to the University Catalog or inquire with your Student Success Mentor.)

Registration opens for Summer and Fall semesters in the 2026/2027 academic year on March 1, 2026 at 10:00 PM CST for online and graduate students.

Registration opens for Spring 2027 in early October 2026 for online and graduate students.
