FAQs About Engineering & Science Career Fairs

The career fair is located in McNair Hall inside of the Morris Cultural Arts Center (MCAC).

Please refer to the HCU Campus Map for directions.

Address: 7502 Fondren Rd Houston, TX 77074

We typically have approximately 300 total business and STEM students spread across all disciplines and academic years, so we would expect around 100-200 Science and Engineering students to attend this career fair.

Students majoring in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity (IT Cybersecurity), Cyber Engineering (OT Cybersecurity), Engineering Science, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry/Microbiology, and general Science Studies.

After the fair, a survey is distributed to gather feedback from both employers and students. One representative from your company is asked to complete the survey to allow us to continue our efforts to improve our students and employer experience. Employer emails collected through the survey are maintained in a Career Fair distribution list for future career fairs and involvement opportunities.

Students will be dressed in business casual, business informal, or business formal attire. If employers incorporate available company branding into their attire, it would be appreciated.

About HCU Students

Thank you for considering registration for our upcoming career fair. Our students are prepared, motivated, and equipped to offer exceptional value. We invite you to meet them as you plan for internships and early-career recruitment.

Competency Through Knowledge and Skill

Our ABET-accredited engineering and computing programs and additional programs in the natural sciences and mathematics prepare graduates to tackle today’s challenges and anticipate tomorrow’s solutions.

Our curriculum strikes a balance between theoretical knowledge and practical skills, delivered through a unique, integrated lecture-lab format. From freshman year onward, students engage in individual and team projects that continue through their senior year, fostering both interpersonal and leadership abilities.

Character Through Faith and The Liberal Arts

A student’s character begins with their personal faith, beliefs, and ethics, and is further shaped through guidance from instructors throughout their learning journey. This foundation fosters confidence to face unexpected challenges in academics and beyond, preparing them for success in life.

Our students’ technical education is grounded in the early development of critical thinking and communication skills. Foundational studies in mathematics, history, and the humanities create a well-rounded base that supports their success throughout both career and life.
