Refuge Student Worship Band
Refuge is the official student-led worship band for weekly Convocation, Thursday night worship gatherings, and other opportunities in local churches and off-campus events.
About Refuge
Refuge is an integral part of the community and Spiritual Life at HCU and a powerful expression of HCU’s desire creatively harness the talents and abilities of our students.
The worship band is an amazing blending of students who have a deep love for Jesus and who are gifted as musicians and vocalists.
Students use their unique talents and skills to lead others to engage with God on a personal level through worship in ways that benefit the campus, the community, and glorify God.
Auditions for Refuge
Near the end of the spring semester, auditions are posted for anyone who wants to join the band. Through the audition process, the band selects new members for both Refuge.
For more information about the leadership positions mentioned above or membership/auditions for FOCUS & Refuge contact Nathan Mahand (nmahand@HC.edu).
