Dr. Meredith O’Hara, Associate Professor of Biology, was the keynote speaker at the 2017 SuperGirls SHINE Foundation Expo held on June 17, 2017 in Houston, TX. She spoke about her path to becoming a scientist and biology professor in an effort to encourage middle school and high school girls to pursue STEM careers.
