HBU Professors to Host HBU Apologetics Day

Houston Baptist University professors will host HBU Apologetics Day: Imagination, Reason, and Revelation, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, March 24, at Woodlands Church, 1 Fellowship Drive in The Woodlands. Main speakers will be Dr. Craig Evans, Dr. Michael Ward and Dr. Jerry Walls. Breakout speakers are Kristen Davis, Dr. Jeremiah Johnston, Dr. Tyler McNabb, Dr. Holly Ordway, Dr. Philip Tallon, Melissa Travis and Mary Jo Sharp, all of HBU. Lee Strobel will then lead an evening service at 6 p.m. the same day.

Dr. Philip Tallon, HBU chair of Apologetics, said, “HBU has one of the finest Apologetics programs in the world. This conference will give everyone in the Houston area a chance to learn from some of our best and brightest scholars. The conference will cover topics ranging from defending Scripture to rational arguments for the existence of God, to engaging the imagination through literature.”

Participants may Register Online (or on the day of the event for an additional $10). The cost is $15 for students, $35 for individuals and $45 for couples.
