Scheduled Portal Maintenance Through May 31

HCU is rolling out a new portal experience on June 1st. Between May 20-31, students will be unable to access HuskyNet or submit payments online, and other faculty tools may be unavailable.

Future Huskies will participate in Husky Drive-In events in which students will receive important information for the fall, and will interact with current students, faculty and staff, as well as President Robert Sloan and First Lady Sue Sloan, from their vehicles as they tour the University campus. HBU looks forward to welcoming students on campus for Fall 2020!

Drive-In events will be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 10, and from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, June 17. Each unique welcome event will feature a DJ, HBU swag, and free Chick-fil-A; incoming freshmen and transfer students will receive important information from staff members representing Admissions, Residence Life, Student Life, Spiritual Life, Academic Success, and more.

The HBU Admissions Office has engaged future students in digital formats like live chats, remote tours and streaming presentations. James Steen, vice president for Enrollment Management, said the Drive-Ins are the first of their kind. He said, “This will be a fun, safe, and informative opportunity to come to campus for our Fall 2020 Get Oriented (GO) events.”

The faculty, staff and leadership of HBU look forward to welcoming new and returning students in person this fall. We invite potential students to contact Admissions@HC.edu or 281-649-3211.
