About the Degree in Psychology - Christian Counseling
The Psychology Christian Counseling bachelors degree online provides a strong foundation in the scientific and applied traditions of psychology, as well as contemporary issues in Christian counseling. Studying Christian counseling online sets high and clear expectations, promotes active learning, and provides students with timely feedback on their progress. Overall, the program prepares students to integrate their faith with the practice of counseling and provides a launching pad for further graduate study in both psychology and counseling. This degree will equip men and women to serve their fellow man.
Coursework in psychology provides much of the liberal arts foundation students will receive at HCU. It is a foundation that will prepare them for many different career fields by teaching interpersonal, analytical, and critical-thinking skills that will be required in any professional environment. But more importantly, these courses will lead students to a higher wisdom in understanding life, people, and the world around them because of the biblical focus of the online Christian counseling degree.

Students are required to submit transcripts showing they achieved a high school general or advanced diploma or a GED with passing scores. (Waived if student has 32 credit hours or more of transfer credit.)
Students must submit all college transcripts from any previously attended institutions. Official transcripts should be sent directly from the college or university that awarded your bachelor’s degree to be considered official. Transcripts from any additional coursework since that time should also be submitted including postbaccalaureate or graduate-level transcripts.
You may be accepted with unofficial transcripts by emailing copies to OnlineVerification@HC.edu; however, you must submit the official transcripts in a sealed envelope from the school or through an approved electronic service by your second semester.
