MS in Cybersecurity – Information Technology Track

Admission Requirements
  • 3.0 gpa (unconditionally); 2.5 (conditionally – students will need to achieve 3.0 in first 5+ hours)
  • Professional Resume
  • Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution – Other majors (degrees) permitted that students can show proficiency in three areas (These can be satisfied through industry certifications or a minimum of 2 years of proper work experience):*
    • Computer Programming
    • Computer Networks
    • Operating Systems
  • 18 credit hours of Computer Science/Information Systems courses if the student has a degree in a STEM-related field. Otherwise students need to show proficiency in the three previously mentioned areas.*
  • References either from college professor, or employer/supervisor.
  • For international students: Successful completion of the English Proficiency Test

*Students that do not meet these requirements may still gain admission into the Master of Science in Cybersecurity as long as they maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the first 9 credit hours of enrollment.
