“HCU provided me with a platform to explore both my academic and professional interests. I began my journey as a General Business major but soon discovered my true passion in the tech world, leading me to pursue a degree in Information Systems. My drive to apply my knowledge in real-world settings started right on campus, where I gained hands-on experience working in the IT department.

Through my faith in God and dedication to my studies and certifications, I was blessed with the opportunity to contribute to a meaningful cause—playing a role in the fight against cancer through my work in IT.

HCU was more than just a university—it was a place of growth, challenge, and discovery. From late nights troubleshooting code to engaging discussions with professors and classmates, my experience shaped not just my technical skills, but also my drive to excel in cybersecurity. The College of Science and Engineering provided the tools, mentorship, and opportunities that helped me step into the industry with confidence. I’m excited for what’s ahead as I continue building my career in cybersecurity!”
