Paul graduated from Harvard College, magna cum laude, in 1983 and Harvard Law School, magna cum laude, in 1986. He became a partner with Cravath, Swaine & Moore and for over 22 years practiced corporate law in New York and London. Among other honors, Paul was recognized in Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business in 2006 and 2007; Chambers Global: The World’s Leading Lawyers in 2008 and 2009; and New York Super Lawyers in 2007 and 2008.
