Comprehensive Exam and Candidacy

To apply for the Comprehensive Exam and Candidacy, you must have completed 24 hours towards your degree plan and been approved from your advisor. Comprehensive Exams are offered during a testing window once a semester in the beginning of February, June and October. Master of Education Comprehensive Exams are given as an online assessment and completed independently during the testing window. Students seeking Master’s degrees in LTDE will complete an end-of-program portfolio in place of the comprehensive exam. These students will apply only for candidacy.
