Hello Future Huskies!

My name is Kaelyn Charles, and I am honored to be your Admissions Counselor!

I am a Cypress, Texas girl born and raised, and a lover of all things pertaining to tennis shoes, music, shopping, art, sleeping, and God!

I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from HCU in 2021. As a student, I participated in many organizations and served as the President of the Black Student Union, the Vice President of New Revelation Voices, and took on many other roles. I believe that the college experience is what you make it, and with that mindset I received the President’s Award my senior year. My future goals are to go back to school to become an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner for Gerontology and open my own practice.

I am an ambivert who loves social interaction, but I restore my energy by spending time alone. I love adventure, meeting new people, and being a guiding light to others. As your Admissions Counselor it is my goal to make sure that you are equipped to attend college and to walk into your life’s purpose.
