Special Circumstance Appeal
Special Circumstance appeals are used to document changes in income or other financial circumstances that may affect the availability of your family resources to pay for educational expenses. To request a Special Circumstances form, each student must complete the Special Circumstance Appeal form.
HCU’s Financial Aid Office may re-evaluate the information reported on the FAFSA and in some cases, adjustments are approved or denied. Any revision of financial aid award depends upon the availability of funds as well as eligibility, regulations and policies. More details can be found on the Special Circumstances and Appeals website.
