Special Circumstance Appeal

Special Circumstance appeals are used to document changes in income or other financial circumstances that may affect the availability of your family resources to pay for educational expenses. To request a Special Circumstances form, each student must contact their Financial Aid Advisor. Reviews are given on a case-by-case basis.

HCU’s Financial Aid Office may re-evaluate the information reported on the FAFSA and in some cases, adjustments are made. Any revision of financial aid award depends upon the availability of funds as well as eligibility, regulations and policies.
