Houston Baptist University Senior Director of Art Programs, Artist-In-Residence and Professor of Art Michael Roque Collins was selected to showcase his landscape-inspired work in an exhibit entitled, “Inland Mountain Journey.” The exhibit will be on display from Friday, Oct. 27, through Sunday, Nov. 26, in LewAllen Galleries, 1613 Paseo de Peralta, in Santa Fe, New Mexico. An Artist Reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, Oct. 27, at the gallery.

Collins is known for his nature-inspired artwork which exemplifies cycles of destruction and regeneration in the greater context of the human condition. As a professional artist for nearly 45 years, Collins’ work has been displayed in more than 50 American and international exhibits. Additionally, his art resides in numerous museums and private collections.
