The McNair Foundation

Established in 1988, the mission of The Robert and Janice McNair Foundation is to assist in preparing the youth of our city, state, and nation for productive and enriched lives with respect to work, family, and service to others. The McNair Foundation was one of the early supporters in the campaign to build the Cultural Arts Center on the HCU campus. The McNair Foundation’s significant financial commitment helped launch this project. McNair Hall provides a grand entrance to the Center and is a wonderful setting for art exhibits and receptions. “The foundation commends HCU for its ongoing commitment to reach beyond the borders of its campus to respond to the education and cultural needs of the community. The Cultural Arts Center will strengthen our community by providing education, entertainment, and cultural enrichment,” Robert McNair said.
