How do I opt-in or opt-out?
HCU uses 911 Cellular for community and emergency alerts.
Opt-in To Receive Alerts
Students, Parents, Faculty and Staff members will receive mass notifications based on information obtained through HuskyNet.
You may also register manually for alerts through 911 Cellular.
NOTE: 911 Cellular does NOT share any of your information with third parties.
Opt-Out Instructions
Email Opt-out
Visit the Community Alerts portal and follow the instructions. Doing this will only opt you out of future emails from 911 Cellular.
Text Opt-out
Reply “Stop” to the message when received. Doing this will only opt you out of future text message notifications from 911 Cellular.
Change/Update Contact Information
Students, faculty, and staff: Navigate to the Portal (my.HC.edu) → My Profile → Personal Information. Then click the edit (pencil) icon next to your phone number or email address.
Alumni, Parents, those no longer attending HCU or are not associated with HCU should report all address and phone number changes to the Office of Academic Records.
