Masters of Higher Education Online Higher Education Masters Online

The Masters of Higher Education online provides graduates with the skills necessary for careers in administration and student services at a junior college, college, or university. The higher education degree emphasizes a multidisciplinary perspective as a basis for developing effective administrators and policy-makers. While students are exposed to the theories and practical issues that higher education administrators face in today’s colleges and universities, HCU students also gain an understanding of the multifaceted organizational structure of the modern university from a Christian perspective.

The Masters of Higher Education online is an ideal degree for someone who wishes to work in the higher education field in student affairs or administrative capacity — either working directly with students or in a service-related or administrative department.

The MEd online degree in Higher Education is a 33-hour, non-thesis degree consisting of 24 hours of core courses and a 9-hour concentration. Students may choose from four concentrations: Business Management, Christian Studies, Counseling or Learning, Technology, and Design.
