Master’s in Health Professions Degree Requirements
The curriculum of the PSM in Health Professions program can be tailored to ensure you are fully confident in facing the rigors of professional schools in medicine, physical therapy, dentistry, and related fields.
With a summer-semester start, the 30-credit health professions master’s takes place in dynamic, easy-to-use online learning environments, including nonsynchronous online coursework, some video meetings, and fully online laboratory assessments.
If you wish to complete work experiences in preparation for further education and advanced careers, collaborative practicum opportunities can enhance online coursework in a real-world virtual or in-person setting that aligns with your dream career pathway.

Courses for Health Professionals
Required courses in the PSM in Health Professions include foundational classes, seminars, practicums, advanced coursework, and dedicated time spent preparing for tests such as the MCAT or DAT. You may take courses such as:

Learning Modalities
The Professional Science Master’s is offered as a fully online program or as a low-residency program. The online program takes place in dynamic, easy-to-use online learning environments, including nonsynchronous online coursework and learning projects.
The low-residency option combines online learning with on-campus experiences. Each course includes one residency weekend session (Friday-Saturday) held at the HCU campus, where you will be required to attend two-day intensive sessions for hands-on learning and collaboration.
