Sarah Villalobos is a first-generation freshman at HCU, majoring in nursing. She chose to pursue a degree in nursing because her grandmother had cancer and she wanted to know more about what she was going through. She likes to say that HCU chose her because she admits to being conflicted about where she wanted to go to school, but decided to apply and was accepted, received good scholarships, and was offered housing. Things lined up perfectly and she believes God was pushing her to come to HCU and knows now this is where she wants to be. She is from El Paso, Texas, and enjoys spending time with her family, watching movies, riding roller coasters, and doing anything adventurous.
